" The longest running, sustained Youth Track & Field program in the Triangle"
What makes Carolina Eagles Track Club different from other clubs?
Although, our organization like many others in area was founded as a result of expanding from the only club which existed in Raleigh at the time, our visionary founders, a group of parents recognized the need for an alternative organization which would committ to sustainability and the core development of Track and Field.
We function as an organization with defined commitment levels and core value which keep us deeply rooted in developmental sports training.
The Carolina Eagles Track Field Club was founded in 1990 and represents a lasting legacy of second and third generation track and field loyalist.
In just over ten years we grew to become the largest and most commonly recognized youth track and field program in Wake County.
Since this time many of the new and emerging track teams have originating roots with-in our organization and have utilized our model as a catalyst for their organizations.
We were founded on fundamental values of integrity and continue to promote a family oriented and welcoming environment.
We do not promote the recruitment of athletes and rather participants find our mission complimentary to their core values and objectives.
We do not market our programs as an elite track and field club which only seeks to recruit top ranked athletes or supplementary training for other sports.
We do not market ourselves as an affiliate of any professional or retired track and field athlete(s).
We do not market ourselves as a specialty club.
We accept all interested candidates regardless of their skill level and offer training in all track and field events (except pole vault).
Many of Raleigh's top track and field stars began their sports careers as a Carolina Eagles and upon entry into high school have been recruited by other programs promoting elite status. We are excited that our foundation has created such promising athletes with both academic and athletic success.
